ARTIST STATEMENT: My process-orientated work stems from a deep inquisition of life, the nature of things and a nagging impetus to bring form to the intangible narrative that emerges. In my painting, writing and drawing I wish to speak truthfully of this dialogue between myself and what lays beyond the surface of thought, environment, memory and immediate art material resources. There is no grande scheme here but purity. I can only hope that the viewer enjoys the portal.
